Katrina Svoboda Johnson, AHC/CAPAyurvedic practitioner, bodyworker, herbalist, teacher

I have been in private practice since 2006 doing consultations, treatments, and bodywork. I view the pursuit of health and wellness as an active practice and — due to my art school background — approach it from a creative design process. I draw from a broad knowledge base to bring you creative solutions to your health and wellness concerns. When working with me you can expect out-of-the-box solutions and a supportive, non-judgemental approach. My diverse toolbox includes Structural Integration and the practical remedies that Ayurveda’s ancient wisdom gives us. Teaching is an important part of my work. I enjoy shining a light the situation at hand while illuminating the path forward.

I am a graduate of the Soma Institute of Neuromuscular Integration and the California College of Ayurveda. I have studied extensively with Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Sarita Shrestha, Mary Thompson, and Dennis Flaherty. I continue my studies in the fields of holistic wellness and the Vedic sciences.

Before answering the call to facilitate healing, I did other culturally relevant work: typesetting Pokémon cards. Today I combine my expertise in desktop publishing with my desire to make the topic of health and wellness accessible to a wide audience by creating gorgeous and engaging books, such as Blissful Belly.
